Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

A delicious and indulgent twist on traditional sweet potato casserole with crispy turkey bacon.

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and beaten eggs until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with mini marshmallows, crumbled turkey bacon, and chopped pecans.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add milk to the sweet potato mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon if desired.
