  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
  3. Roll out pastry sheets and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the strawberry mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the squares over to form triangles and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
