Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla, and food coloring, mixing well.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in powdered sugar.
  8. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
