Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 carrot, cut into small pieces for decoration
  • 1 black olive, halved for decoration

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs, then cool in ice water.
  2. Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and place them in a bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks, and mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in turkey bacon and chives.
  6. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  7. Sprinkle paprika on top for color.
  8. Decorate with carrot pieces and black olive halves.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • These deviled eggs can be made a day in advance for easy entertaining.
