Garlic Butter Lasagna Enchiladas

A rich and creamy twist on traditional lasagna served in enchilada form, with a delightful garlic butter flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef or turkey to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, black pepper, and parsley.
  5. In a large baking dish, layer the ingredients: start with a layer of meat sauce, then place 3 lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
  • You can substitute ground meat with vegetables for a vegetarian option.
