Forgotten Chicken and Rice is a comforting dish that’s perfect for a family dinner. It combines tender chicken, flavorful rice, and crispy turkey bacon for a satisfying meal.

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer the rice and then add the chopped onion and garlic.
  3. Place the chicken thighs on top of the rice.
  4. Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
  5. Pour chicken broth around the chicken and sprinkle cooked turkey bacon on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the chicken is golden.
