  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked fettuccine with the shrimp and sauce until well combined.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a bit of heat, add red pepper flakes while cooking the shrimp.
