- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Cook the fettuccine according to package directions; drain and set aside.
