- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
