Cheesy Easy Baked Ziti Recipe

A creamy and cheesy baked ziti that is easy to prepare and sure to please the family.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer half of the pasta mixture to a baking dish, layer with half of the mozzarella cheese, then add the remaining pasta and top with the rest of the mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • You can use any pasta shape you prefer.
