Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening together in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Return to the baking sheet.
  6. Chill again until the chocolate is set.

Notes

  • For a nut-free option, use sunbutter instead of peanut butter.
  • Make sure the peanut butter mixture is well chilled before dipping in chocolate for best results.
