- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and brown butter.
