  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Stir until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the sliced almonds.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
